See what the 2022 Revelree Music Festival was like!
To the performers, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, partners, suppliers, workers, and most of all - the attendees, the Revelree Music Festival would like to thank each and every one of you for making our first-ever festival an amazing experience.
We had one goal when we started planning this event and that was to put on one great show that brought together artists and fans for a memorable celebration of live entertainment. It is our hope we were able to do that but it was only possible because of the unbelievable support of our community and for all of the passionate festival-goers who came from near and far. It was a wonderful party full of camaraderie and respect for everyone in the venue and we cannot thank you enough for that.

In the 35 years since forming, Blue Rodeo have sold over 4 million albums, received dozens of JUNO Award nominations and wins, played over 2,000 shows, been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, received a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, been named to the Order of Canada and have been honoured with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award. And they’re still as strong as ever with the upcoming release of their 16th album Many A Mile, and a national tour on the horizon.
In the early weeks of 2020, the members of Big Wreck were returning home after a heavy few months of touring, ready to settle into a cyclical period of workshopping and woodshedding new material. Of course, an emerging global pandemic unwelcomely extended a few months of creative respite into nearly a year-and-a-half of inactivity and uncertainty. But borrowing whatever adage you’d like about lemonade or open windows, frontman Ian Thornley and his bandmates decided to take full advantage of the downtime.
Late at night, when a hush fell over the house after his kids went to bed, Donovan Woods got to work on his latest album, Without People.
In a makeshift recording studio at his Toronto home, the acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter tracked his vocals and guitar alone and then emailed files to producer James Bunton. As Woods’ new songs took shape, backing musicians sketched out their own parts in isolation from their respective homes.
Formed nearly two decades ago and named after Israeli dub artist/producer Badawi’s 1996 release, Bedouin Soundclash debuted in 2001 with the album Root Fire. Their acclaimed sophomore release Sounding a Mosaic (2004) featured the hit single, “When the Night Feels My Song” and was produced by legendary punk-hardcore royalty Darryl Jenifer of Bad Brains.
Texas King is Your Ride Home; it’s what you listen to when you get on the bus, when you get off work and you’re driving home listening to the radio. Texas King are a live band that create a safe space for everyone to have a good time - a rock band that sweats charisma, the life of the party – but it’s not about Texas King, they’re not the hero – it’s about the fan – this is about their journey, what Texas King offer is the soundtrack to finding their way through life, their way home.
It's been more than twenty years since Red Wanting Blue first began their long, strange odyssey, and while much has changed for Terry and the rest of the band over those two remarkable decades, the hunger remains.
Using Lake Huron as a backdrop for their unique blend of rock, psychedelic, prog and hints of jazz and metal fusion, Circle The City is forging their way onto the Ontario music scene with palpable force.
